Marbella nightlife: clubs, areas and practical tips for 2026

Updated

Marbella's nights are split between the clubs of Puerto Banús, the dinner-show venues and dance floors of the Golden Mile and the bars of the old town. Evenings start late, run until sunrise in summer and mix free entry at many venues with VIP tables on a minimum spend. Marbella One is a digital concierge app in Marbella that lets you request tables and plan nights out from your phone.

This guide covers the venues confirmed as operating in 2026, which open year-round and which are seasonal. Hours and prices change, so check with each venue before heading out.

What are the best nightclubs in Marbella in 2026?

The line-up has shifted over the past two years. The former Olivia Valere reopened in 2026 as Bonbonniere, run by Mandala Group on a ten-year lease, with its terrace opening on 12 June and the club on 2 July. Opium, at El Pinillo, could not open in 2025 after the town hall revoked its opening licence.

Which areas of Marbella are best for a night out?

Where can you see a dinner show in Marbella?

A dinner show bridges the gap between restaurant and club. LØV Marbella, in the Olivia Valere building, opened its 2026 season on 13 June, running Fridays and Saturdays in June and nightly in July and August. Doors open at 9pm, the show starts at 10pm and the after-party runs until 4am. Seating tiers are arranged by how close you sit to the stage, and there are private boxes for ten.

Mamzel, at Finca Besaya on the Golden Mile, is an open-air restaurant with a live show during dinner that changes by night. At Puente Romano, COYA hosts seasonal parties including New Year's Eve, Halloween and La Noche Blanca, and its club runs 9pm to 4am, Thursday to Saturday.

Lío, the Ibiza cabaret, does not list Marbella among its current venues, which are Ibiza and Mykonos.

What time does nightlife start in Marbella?

Late. Dinner typically runs from 9pm to 11pm, followed by a drink somewhere and the club after midnight.

Is there a dress code at Marbella clubs?

Yes, and it is enforced in high season. Smart casual is the baseline; clean trainers usually pass, flip-flops after dark do not. Dress up if you have a VIP table.

Bonbonniere asks for smart-chic and refuses beachwear, swimwear, caps, hats, sandals and flip-flops. Medium and large bags go to the cloakroom, and small bags are checked at security. Pangea asks for smart casual. Casino Nueva Andalucía in Puerto Banús requires a passport and near-formal dress.

How do VIP tables and minimum spends work?

Many clubs, including TIBU and Funky Buddha, charge no entry except on event or guest-DJ nights. A table is different: you book it against a minimum spend, which goes on drinks from the menu.

As an approx. guide, booking platform Clubbable lists Pangea minimums from €335 (table for up to 3) to €1,000 (up to 10), plus a 10% service charge and an upfront deposit; special nights can cost more. Bonbonniere tickets run from approx. €30 to €60, with VIP entry at €150. TIBU sells prepaid table packages for arrivals before 1am.

In July and August a VIP table at Pangea is close to essential, so book well ahead.

What is open in winter and what is summer-only?

The main season runs from June to September, peaking in July and August. Late May, early June and September offer the best balance between buzz and breathing room, while some venues close in January and February.

How do you get home safely after a night out in Marbella?

Taxis are the easiest option. Puerto Banús has ranks on Calle Gray D'Albion, Calle Miguel Cervantes and Calle Jesús Puente. The higher night tariff applies from 10pm to 6am, and all day at weekends and on public holidays. Central Marbella to Puerto Banús costs approx. €10 to €15. Uber, Bolt and Cabify operate as licensed private-hire alternatives.

A few simple habits help: plan your ride home before you go out, use only licensed taxis or private-hire cars, keep your drink in sight and carry photo ID, as some venues ask for it. In an emergency, call 112, the free number that covers all of Andalusia.

How Marbella One helps

In the Marbella One app, tell Marco, our AI assistant available 24/7 in 14 languages, what kind of night you have in mind: a dinner show, a club table or a quieter evening in the old town. Marco prepares the request with your date, group size and preferences and sends it to the venue; your table is confirmed once the venue accepts it, and we let you know in the app.

Opening times, prices and seasons can change, so always check with the venue. Marbella One does not charge for bookings; a request is only confirmed once the venue or provider accepts it.
